Rock Bottom Games Aseprite Tool Suite - v0.2 - GitHub | README This is the base project which will hold all of my tools as I make them, for now it's a bit superfluous as there's only one tool in it at the moment.
Quick Auto Tile
WHAT IS IT: 1/4th the drawing (or less) for a GODOT Auto Tile Tileset!
Quick Auto Tile - v0.2 - GitHub |README - 1/4th the amount of drawing and reduce the stress of matching up edges! This tool helps you make auto tile terrains faster through use of Aseprite's tileset. This tool can only do even numbered pixel width and height tiles. The way it works is it breaks each tile from Godot's auto tile guide into quarters. Those quarters can then be reused in matching places in the guide. This reduces the amount required to draw to less than 1/4 of the full Godot auto tile guide. You can further reduce it by allowing flip in the tileset for x, y, and or diagonal. At the very simplest this can be used to get a fast start on terrains. I personally made this so when I participate in game jams I can get more of the copy and pasting I already do out of the way. Read more...
This is just a start!
My first tool is quick auto tile, but I also have some ideas on how to speed up animating sprites, and just some general tools that I haven't found anyone else has made yet.
